Hot Pepper Vinegar Lemon Drink



  • ice, 150 grams

  • topo chico, 40 grams

  • lillie’s q hot pepper vinegar, 25 grams
  • lemon simple syrup, 25 grams

  • Lemon Simple Syrup

  • sugar, 200 grams

  • water, 200 grams

  • lemon peel, 75 grams

  • cardamom, 15 grams

    To Make the Lemon Simple Syrup:

    1. Toast cardamom in a pan on low for a few minutes to bring out the flavor.

    2. Add the water, sugar, lemon and toasted cardamom to a pot and bring to a boil.

    3. Remove pot from heat and cool at room temp. Once cooled, store in a container in the fridge overnight.

    To Build The Drink:

    1.  Add ice to a glass.

    2. Use a strainer to add the lemon simple syrup.

    3. Add the Hot Pepper Vinegar.

    4. Finish with Topo Chico.
