Directions
  1. Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and break into small pieces. Let it cook without moving too much at first so it develops a golden-brown crust.

  2. Add the diced onion and 1 tsp Steak Butter Seasoning. Continue cooking until the onion softens and the beef is nicely browned. Remove excess fat if needed.

  3. Turn off the heat and add 4-5 tbsp Smoky BBQ Sauce. Mix until the beef is evenly coated, thick, juicy and glossy.

  4. Open the hot dog buns and fill generously with the Smoky BBQ beef. Top with shredded cheddar and mozzarella.

  5. Bake at 450°F for 4-6 minutes, just until both cheeses are completely melted and the buns are warm.

  6. Top with thinly sliced dill pickles and a light drizzle of Smoky BBQ Sauce. Wrap tightly in parchment-lined foil for comfortable eating and serve hot.

  • Let the beef brown before stirring. Caramelized edges build deeper flavor.

  • Add the BBQ sauce off the heat to keep it rich, glossy and full of smoky flavor.
