Citrus Blend Guacamole with Spiced Chips and Citrus Margarita


    Citrus Blend Guacamole

  • avocado, 400 grams

  • tomato, 150 grams

  • red onion, 75 grams

  • jalapeno, 35 grams

  • lillie’s q citrus blend, 15 grams
  • fresh lime juice, 20 grams

  • garlic, 10 grams

  • cilantro, 10 grams

  • Nashville Spiced Chips

  • store bought tortilla chips (low sodium)

  • lillie’s q hot chicken rub

  • mezcal, 1.5 grams

  • orange juice, 2 grams

  • limes / lime juice, 1.5 grams

  •  tupelo honey, 0.5 grams

  • lq citrus rub, as needed

    Citrus Blend Guacamole

    1. begin by washing the avocados, then halve them, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a large bowl

    2. finely dice the jalapeños, tomatoes, and red onions. mince the garlic

    3. chop the cilantro

    4. add all the finely chopped ingredients, along with the lime juice and citrus blend, to the bowl with the avocado

    5. use a fork or a potato masher to mash all the ingredients together until well combined but still slightly chunky

    6. serve immediately or cover with plastic wrap directly on the surface to prevent browning and chill until ready to serve

    Nashville Spiced Chips

    1. look for a chip that is unsalted or low in salt

    2. preheat oven to 350 degrees

    3. add the chips to a sheet tray

    4. bake in oven until hot and toasty (about 6-8minutes)

    5. dust and toss lightly with hot chicken rub


    1. in a shaker add ice and all of the fresh juices, honey, and mezcal

    2. rim a cocktail glass with lime juice, then dip into the citrus rub

    3. add fresh ice to glass, strain margarita and enjoy
